Starting the 2025 swxc series round 1 kicks off at Newnham park with the Winter Wake-up . This is an xcm race so longer than a standard Xc race, in fact riders will race for double their normal time, but at the same time scoring double points..... a great way to start the series. 
Riders can expect a fun, technically challenging course with some A line features. The event will be run through British cycling and under their rules and regulations, details of this can be found on their website. 
 

There are race categories for all riders throughout the day, starting with 8 years and under.

• 9.30am Under 8's 20 mins
• 10am Under 10's and 12's 25 mins
• 12 Noon Main race (3hr endurance)
